Dear OCBA Friends and Colleagues,
I am very excited and honored to have been nominated for OCBA Secretary!
With the election fast approaching, I wanted to let you know about my ideas for the OCBA, should I be elected Secretary.
If elected Secretary, I will work to ensure that our great bar association continues to connect and support members at large and small firms and in the public sector.
As part of this initiative, I have three core ideas.
- Creation of an OCBA App to provide members with the ability to more readily access the resources of the OCBA and connect with each other.
- Creation of the "OCBA Marketplace" to support OCBA members with additional resources and or negotiated discounts on a range of matters such as an e-Discovery/IT consortium, finding or leasing office space and resources to enable underrepresented attorneys to proactively engage with the broader legal community.
- Form an Access to Justice Task Force comprised of the brightest minds in Orange County including practitioners, academia and the Courts to identify pragmatic solutions to increase access to justice./li>
I will look for ways to leverage technology to further connect and support members.
I have worked in-house, at a small firm and am now a partner at Littler Mendelson – the largest labor and employment firm in the county. I believe our great bar association shines the brightest when individuals from all backgrounds and areas are actively involved in shaping the OCBA. I would be honored to have your vote for OCBA Secretary.
